HOULTON – Daniel H. Tracy, 49, died June 24, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1962, in Houlton, son of James C. and Lois (Young) Tracy.
Dan was a graduate of Houlton High School, Class of 1980, and the owner and operator of Aroostook Print Shop. He was a member of Houlton Community Golf Course, Houlton Lodge of Elks No. 835, and he was currently serving on Four Seasons Village board of directors and Houlton Sports Boosters board. He was a past board member of Houlton Regional Health Service Foundation, Houlton Community Golf Course and County Open Committee.
Dan is survived by his mother; wife, Karen (Johnston) Tracy; his daughter, Mikaelah Tracy, all of Houlton; his sister, Diane Ouellette and her husband, Paul, of Houlton; his mother-in-law, Rae Johnston of Littleton; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and special aunt, Mim Nichols. He was predeceased by his father, James C. Tracy; and his father-in-law, Charles Johnston.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Houlton Wesleyan Church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
