BANGOR, Maine — U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe said that with the July 4th holiday, Americans must redouble their efforts to strengthen the nation and ensure a just, free and prosperous future for new generations.
The Maine Republican released her statement as she announced her holiday parade plans. She’ll celebrate the nation’s 235th Independence Day marching in the Bangor-Brewer and Eastport parades.
The first begins at 11 a.m. and Eastport’s starts at 2 p.m.
