PALYMYRA, Maine — A Dexter woman was injured late Monday afternoon after she lost control of her 2005 Honda motorcycle while attempting to negotiate a curve on Route 2.
Angela Burgess, 62, was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, where she was still being evaluated Monday evening, Maine State Police Trooper Hugh Landry said Monday evening.
“She had to lay down her motorcycle,” Landry said. As a result, she suffered a bad case of road rash and an ankle fracture, he said.
Hugh said no charges are pending in connection with the accident.
