PLYMOUTH – Nancy Mae Lane, 60, died peacefully July 4, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief struggle with ALS. She was born Sept. 25, 1950, in Sher-man Mills, daughter of Kenneth and Lorraine (Neal) Lane.
Nancy was a very loving and giving family oriented woman who touched the heart of everyone who knew her.
She was affectionately known as “Mom” or “Mamie” to many. She loved the coast and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by her loving partner of 15 years, David Greene of Plymouth; daughters, Rhonda Dodds Burton, Denise and husband, Chris Cleveland, all of Newport, Melissa and husband, Jared Snowman, of Plymouth, and Valeri and husband, James Dean, of Carmel; stepson, Chad Marin and wife, Lauren, of San Francisco; grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Bryant, Morgan, Tiffany, Jacob, Marcus, Faith, Felicia, Kentin, Katelin, Ava and soon-to-be-born Bella Rose; great-grandchildren, Miranda, Brayden and Kaydence; her mother, Lorraine; brother, Dennis; sisters, Dar-lene, Kandes, Lori and Ronica; many nieces, nephews, special family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth; grandsons, Brandon and Ethan; and a special nephew, Herbie.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may leave written condolences at
