SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Beaches Conference Program will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Friday, July 15, at the Southern Maine Community College.
The biennial Maine Beaches Conference serves as an event for public discussions of the state’s beaches. Highlights of the 2011 event include an art show, photography and a live debate about environmental regulations’ balance between coastal protection and private property rights.
