EAGLE LAKE and BRISTOL, Conn. – Leonette Dube, 66, passed away unexpectedly July 6, 2011, in Fort Kent. She was born Jan. 31, 1945, in Eagle Lake, daughter of Leo and Jeanne (Vaillancourt) Dube.

Leonette worked for Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut and held multiple positions for 35 years. She was known by her coworkers as one of the hardest working ladies in the shop and succeeded at all jobs. When not working in the shop she enjoyed her gardens which she constantly manicured to a beautiful bloom. She enjoyed summer vacations with her sisters in Eagle Lake. She will always be known for her smile, contagious laugh and helping hand.

Leonette is survived by her loving sisters, Dolores Dube Paradis and Jean Dube of Eagle Lake, Norma Torza and Claire Gagnon of Connecticut; three brothers, Lucien Dube of West Enfield, Roland Dube of Howland and Donald Dube of Eagle Lake. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Leonel Dube Sr. and James Dube; and one sister, Marie Dube. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may call 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Committal services will be afterward.
