WOODLAND – Greta “Dee” Landry, 67, passed away unexpectedly July 8, 2011, at her residence. She had numerous health problems throughout her life. She was born March 25, 1944, in Allagash, the daughter of Gilbert and Dorothy (Hafford) Walker.

She lived in Fort Kent, where she graduated from Fort Kent High School. Greta married her loving husband, Roger Landry, shortly after graduation Aug. 3, 1963. She was employed at Cary Medical Center and for Dr. Francis Chan, until he passed away. She was a member of Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and spending time in her flower garden.

Greta is survived by her loving husband, Roger of Woodland; a daughter, Kim Landry of Woodland; two grandchildren, Kasey Landry and Emily Dee Clayton; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Merle and Wendall; and two sisters, Shirley and Mary.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. For online register, please go to
