DOVER-FOXCROFT – William W. Mitchell, 86, husband of the late Ena (Jeffrey) Mitchell, died July 8, 2011, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born March 4, 1925, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Clinton and Margaret (Brown) Mitchell.
A longtime farmer, he was a member of Piscataquis Valley Fair Association.
He is survived by a son, Bill Mitchell and his wife, Kim, of Glenburn; a brother, Richard Mitchell and his wife, Dianne, of Sangerville; three sisters, Jane Waltz of Levant, Mildred Jackson of East Baldwin and Evelyn Cookson of Westbrook; and two grandchildren, Kate and Thomas Mitchell of Glenburn.
Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 11, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, with the Rev.
