ABBOT – Norma L. Herring, 98, passed away July 16, 2011, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Feb. 27, 1913, in Parkman, the first child of Roy G. and Evelyn (Morgridge) Brown.
Survivors include twin daughters, Joann Bennett and Joyce Eggleston of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Abbot; a daughter, Kathryn Bernier and her husband, Donald, of Winter Haven, Fla.; a brother, James F. Brown of Abbot; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at Abbot Village Cemetery with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Abbot Historical Society, P.O.
