Diabetes support group to feature Eastern Area Agency on Aging
ELLSWORTH, Maine — Hancock County Diabetes Support Group meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, in the boardroom at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, 50 Union St. in Ellsworth. A speaker from Eastern Area Agency on Aging will explain its programs to improve a senior’s quality of life, including A Matter of Balance, which helps reduce the fear of falling for older adults and increase their activity level. BELFAST, Maine — Belfast Rotary Club will sponsor its third electronic waste collection 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Belfast Public Works Department parking lot at 115 Congress St. in Belfast.
