BUCKSPORT, Maine — A local man is facing criminal charges after reportedly using a pellet gun to threaten another person.
The incident happened last Sunday when a man called Bucksport police to report that he had been threatened by another man who had a gun. Officer Ryan Knight and Sgt. David Winchester found the suspect — 30-year-old Shawn DeVinney of Bucksport — and the pellet gun.
DeVinney was arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
