HODGDON – Dorothy D. (Bither) Nesbitt, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 26, 2011, surrounded by her family at a local health care facility. She was born Nov. 21, 1920, in Linneus, daughter of Frank and Flora (Adams) Bither.
Dorothy was a longtime member of Hodgdon United Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, William Nesbitt and his wife, Kathryn, of Milltown, Ind., Malcolm Nesbitt and his wife, Sonya, of Hodgdon, and James Nesbitt and his wife, Cathy, of Glenburn; three daughters, Marie Hall and her husband, Donald, of Linneus, Ruth Ebrecht and her husband, Bill, of LaQuinta, Calif., and Natalie Fleming and her husband, Mike, of New Limerick; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Bither and his wife, Gail, of Hodgdon; two sisters, Evelyn Nealey of Houlton and Wilma Welton of Hodgdon; sisters-in-law, Virginia of Nebraska, Eileen of Tennessee and Edna of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; and three brothers, Leo, Forrest and Floyd.
Friends may call 1 p.m. Sunday until time of service 2 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Lunn officiating. Interment will be at Hodgdon Cemetery.
