BANGOR and JONESPORT – Marada Gladys West, 86, wife of the late Truman F. West, died July 27, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 19, 1925, in Etna, daughter of Hollis and Gladys (Smith) Farren.
She is survived by eight children, Ester West, Barbara West, Franklin West, and from previous marriage, Hollis, Gilbert, Ethel, Irene and Pauline; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Harley Farren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two children, Gladys and June; a brother, Ernest; and a sister, Avis.
