BANGOR – Noreen Leona (Akerson) Cole, 87, passed through the heavenly gates of our Lord Aug. 4, 2011, in Bangor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald W. Cole; her parents, Alfred and Leona Akerson; her brother, Kenneth; and her sisters, Alda, Frances and Ruth. She is survived by her brother, Sherman Akerson of East Hartford, Conn.; her three sons, Donald A. Cole and his wife, Pam, and Daniel W. Cole, all of Lancaster, S.C., and David W. Cole of Bangor; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who love her with all their hearts.
