CAMDEN — Camden National Bank has been holding Community Banking Day events across the state to celebrate its history as an independent, Maine-based community bank, and to honor and thank the customers and communities that it serves. During these celebrations, each branch holds a raffle for a $100 gift card to the Maine-based business of the winner’s choice. In addition, each winner has the opportunity to select a Maine-based charity to which Camden National will make a matching $100 donation.
Local winners are:
• Belfast winner Bruce Bryant selected a $100 gift card to Young’s Lobster Pound and donated $100 to Belfast Area Snow Packers.
• Camden Main Office winner Patty Kitchen selected a $100 gift card to Mary McCormick Massage and donated $100 to Coastal Opportunities.
• Camden Square winner Wendy Glaude selected a $100 gift card to L.L.Bean and donated $100 to the Camden Rockport Animal Rescue League.
• Damariscotta winner Louis Rector selected a $100 gift card to N.C. Hunt and donated $100 to the Greater New England Chapter of the National MS Society.
• Rockland winner Colleen Rickard selected a $100 gift card to Penobscot Island Air and donated $100 to Trekkers 2013.
• Thomaston winner Stuart Woodman selected a $100 gift card to The Store and donated $100 to Thomaston Fireman’s Association.
• Union winner Jacqueline Denman selected a $100 gift card to Renys and donated $100 to the Knox County Humane Society.
• Vinalhaven winner Becky Smith selected a $100 gift card to The Ledges Motel and donated $100 to the Knox County Humane Society.
• Waldoboro winner Krisanne Baker selected a $100 gift card to Hannaford and donated $100 to United Mid-Coast Charities.
