BANGOR – Frances Lynch Flanagan, 95, a native of Bangor and a resident of Manchester, Conn., died July 19, 2011, at the family residence in Mobile, Ala. She was born in Bangor, daughter of James Henry and Mary (Clifford) Lynch.
She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Flanagan; one son, James “Jim” “Pat” Flanagan; four grandchildren, James H. Flanagan Jr. and Nicole, Kelly Evans and John, Michael B. and Lindsey Flanagan, and Matthew Lynch Flanagan; four great-grandchildren, Leighton, Claire and John Patrick Flanagan, and Carys Evans; and three nieces, Susan Warren and Kathy Constantine of Bangor, and Pam Ryan of Adairsville, Ga.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, York Street, Bangor. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. Those who wish to remember Frances in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Catholic Charities of Maine, P.O.
