INDIAN TOWNSHIP, Maine — One man was hospitalized and another arrested early Saturday after a fight on a bike path off Route 1 at the Passamaquoddy reservation.
Sgt. Roger Newell said the victim was beaten by three other men after he refused to leave a nearby residence. The participants were all men and were all intoxicated, he said. No weapons were involved. Newell said the fight took place about 5 a.m.
Clay Levesque Jr., 21, of Indian Township, was arrested on a charge of assault, and the victim was transported by ambulance to Calais Regional Hospital where he remained Saturday afternoon. No information on his condition was available.
