ROCKLAND – Albert David Mills, 88, formerly of Barling, Ark., passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, surrounded by his beloved wife and family.

Wednesday at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A funeral service will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at West Rockport Baptist Church, Park Street, West Rockport. A graveside committal service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at new Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
