TYBEE ISLAND, Ga., and MACHIAS – Paul Ensley Flood passed away Aug. 12, 2011, at Savannah Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Paul was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Meriden, Conn., the son of Wilmont W. Flood and Betsy Reeves Flood.
He graduated from Machias High School in 1975. He worked in construction in Maine and Georgia.
He was predeceased by his father, Dec. 5, 2006; and brother, Ralph, Feb 29, 2008. He is survived by two sisters, Janet Hooper and Cathy Bosits; four brothers, Bruce, Stanley, Wilmont Jr. “Willie” and David; his mother, who resides in Jonesboro; and many other family members. Paul will be sadly missed by his friends at Tybee Church and many friends and neighbors in Savannah, Ga., and Tybee Island, Ga.
There will be a memorial at a later date. Burial will be at Bay View Cemetery, Masons Bay Road, Jonesport.
