BREWER – Carl W. Averill, 51, died suddenly Aug. 26, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1959, in Bangor, son of E. Robert and Barbara (Hitchcock) Averill.
Carl will be missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Boulier of Holden; two sons, Jason Averill of Old Town and Travis Averill of Burlington; his companion, Diane Bragg of Brewer; one brother, Mark Lawson of Brewer; four sisters, Donna Duma of Pennsylvania, Sheila Dougherty of Massachusetts, Carol Hoffman of Otis and JoAnn Dobson of New Hampshire; the mother of his sons, Vera Averill of Burlington; four grandchildren, five nephews and one niece. Carl was predeceased by his father, E. Robert Averill.
