DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — A Dover-Foxcroft woman who was injured on July 6 during a freak storm is still hospitalized at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
Rory Schmand, 47, who was impaled in the face by a tree branch that fell onto her vehicle as she was traveling on Douty Hill Road, remains in critical condition, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.
Schmand was airlifted after the accident to EMMC, where she has remained since the accident.
