MILO – Shawna Smith, 44, passed away Sept. 3, 2011.
She was born July 7, 1967, in Milo, the daughter of William and Elaine Russell.
She was a dedicated certified nurse’s aide and graduated with her degree in nursing in 2008. She loved all animals, especially horses and dogs. Above all she loved all of her large family.
Shawna is survived by her husband, Greg Smith; daughter, Lacey Phelps and husband, Jeremy; beloved grandchildren, Casey and Myer; mother, Elaine Russell; brothers, Douglas Willinski and his daughters, Sarah and Amber, and Willy D. Willinski and his wife, Elizabeth; parents-in-law, Robert and Jan Smith; including brother-in-law and many sisters-in-law; many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Shawna also leaves behind her beloved rottweilers, Necco, Rainy, Pocco and Trouble. Shawna was predeceased by her father, William Russell; as well as cherished family dogs, Precious, Jasmine and Lucky.
