MILBRIDGE – Larry T. Skinner, 48, passed away Sept. 13, 2011, at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1962, at Mount Desert Island Hospital, to his parents, Dr. Roger and Ava (Ray) Skinner.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Roger Skinner, in 1979, and Ava (Ray) Skinner, in 2002. He is survived by a daughter, Madison Kennedy of Steuben; a sister, Lorinda and her husband, Mark Breau, of Florida; a nephew, Mark; a niece, Michelle; three great-nephews, Zachery, Mark and Michael; a great-niece, Summer; many cousins and friends.
Larry graduated from Narraguagus High School in 1981 and attended Washington County Vocational Technical Institute. He worked at Morrison Chevrolet for many years, assisted his mother at the family owned Milbridge Inn, and enjoyed flipping sausages at the fair grounds. He also worked at Narraguagus Bay Healthcare Facility and for the Census program.
Larry will be sadly missed by many and upon his request, there will be no funeral service. A graveside service will be held 4 p.m. Oct. 7 at Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge, by Charles Kelley.
