EASTON – Robert L. Waugh Sr., 71, died Sept. 24, 2011, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born April 23, 1940, in Bristol, New Brunswick, son of David and Alice (Finnemore) Waugh.
Bob operated heavy equipment and drove tractor trailer trucks most of his working years. He enjoyed fishing, riding his all-terrain vehicle, teasing folks, and just enjoying the outdoors. He was a member of Easton ATV Club for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Delores (Finnamore) Waugh of Easton; a son, Robert L. Waugh Jr. of Easton; daughters, Julie A. Waugh and her special friend, John Morin, of Caribou and Cheryl L. Fogarty and her husband, John, of Anaheim, Calif.; brothers, Ronald Waugh and his wife, Marlene, of Tilley, New Brunswick, and Vernon Waugh of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Tommy and Alison Fogarty; sister-in-law, Judy Waugh of Bristol, New Brunswick; brother-in-law, Donald Beaulieu of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Beaulieu; a brother, Gary Waugh; and an infant brother, Dale Waugh.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Randy Vaughn officiating. Relatives and friends may call 3 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Estes Park Cemetery, Easton.
