ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Waneta M. Piper, 87, formerly of Portsmouth, N.H., and Portage Lake, died Sept. 21, 2011. She was born May 10, 1924.
Waneta was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. Piper, Sept. 7, 1984. Survivors include three sons and their spouses, Peter and Cecile of Gray, Douglas and Pamela of Venice, Fla., and David and Jane of Imperial, Mo.; many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Bon Secours Place, St. Petersburg, Fla. A committal service will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
