CARMEL – Lillian H. Muise, 95, died Sept. 27, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Fort Fairfield, a daughter of Edward and Alice (Page) Levasseur.
Lillian retired from Northeast Shoe, Pittsfield. She was a member of Solid Rock Church of God, Pittsfield, and attended Church of God, Newport.
She is survived by her husband, Edward of Carmel; a son, Ralph Langley of Pittsfield; a sister, Beatrice McDougal of Caribou; six stepchildren, nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Buddy Gough officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Newport. Those who wish may leave written tributes at
