GARDINER – Mary Jane (Fisher) Hendsbee went to be with the Lord and Savior Friday, Sept 30, 2011. She was born Dec. 23, 1925, in Limestone, to Henry and Dora (Lebrecque) Fisher.
Mary Jane married Edward W. “Ted” Hendsbee Sr., Jan. 25, 1947, and they had six children, Edward W. “Ted” Jr., Robert W., John B., Fredrick and Samuel Hendsbee and Sandra J. (Hendsbee) Brown.
She was predeceased by son, Sam, in 1973; husband, Ted, in 1983; grandson, Todd, in 1997; her four brothers, Emery, Bert, Louis and James; and sister, Stella. Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brown and husband, Dick, of Richmond; sons, Fred and wife, Gloria, of North Fryeburg, John and wife, Jolene, of Richmond, Bob and wife, Connie, of Sebastian, Fla., and Ted and his wife, Gayle, of Belgrade; sister, Eva Donovan of Caribou; many nieces and nephews, seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
There will be a family only visiting 1-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner. Friends are invited to join family for burial and committal services 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
