MILFORD – Deanna S. Ketch, 73, passed away Oct. 4, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. She was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Passadumkeag, the daughter of Wesley and Ruth (White) Springer.
Deanna grew up in Passadumkeag. In May of 1956, she married John V. Ketch. Later, she lived on Cape Cod, Mass., then came home and settled in Milford, where she was a working housewife, working various jobs throughout the years.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, John; she is survived by seven children, John V. Ketch Jr. and Georgie of Passadumkeag, Brenda Peters and John of Summerville, S.C., Frank Ketch and Billie Rae, Scott Ketch and Barbie, all of Milford, Laurie Farrenkopf and Sterling of Harwich, Mass., Ruth Moreau and Mike of Dixmont and Elaine Holmes and Tim of Milford; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and their spouses, countless nieces and nephews; and longtime friend and caregiver, Kathy Costigan of Milford.
Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Aaron Webb officiating. Interment will be at Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the funeral home.
