VAN BUREN – Ozithe Clavette, 92, died Oct. 5, 2011, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born March 7, 1919, in St. David, the daughter of Thadee and Marguerite (Hebert) Ouellette.
She is survived by six sons, Patrick Clavette Jr. of Stoneham, Mass., Gerard Clavette and wife, Mary, of Somerville, Mass., Bernard Clavette and wife, Rose, of Malden, Mass., Joel Clavette and wife, Colette, of Manchester, Conn., Allen Clavette and wife, Linda, and Eugene Clavette and wife, Brenda, all of Bristol, Conn.; eight daughters, Claudette Pelletier of Hamlin, Theresa Violette and husband, John, Rejeanne Thibodeau and husband, Harold, all of Caribou, Constance Cyr and husband, George, of Hampden, Nancy Corbin and husband, Maurice, Linda Dumond and husband, Douglas, all of Van Buren, Lisa Cyr and husband, Kevin, of New Gloucester and Carol Reed and husband, Shawn, of Old Saybrook, Conn.; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick R. Clavette, in 1997.
Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
