CARDVILLE – Priscilla Twitchell, 83, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at a Bangor area hospital. She was born June 7, 1928, in Milford, the daughter of Ottamus and A. Bernice (Mills) Costigan.
For Priscilla, family mattered the most in her life, and she cherished the time she was able to spend with them, especially her grandchildren. She had an exceptional talent for crafts, which included, but are not limited to, crocheting afghans and baby clothes, needle point, ceramics and canning.
She is survived by her five children, Gary Twitchell and his wife, Kathy, of Greenbush, Bonnie Twitchell of Bangor, James Twitchell and his wife, Mary Jane, of Cardville, Chrystal Twitchell of Bangor and Tim Twitchell and his significant other, Debra Smith, of Cardville; six grandchildren, Marjorie-Lou Twitchell, Jaime Gilman and her husband, Greg, Erin Cram and her husband, Scott, Zachary Twitchell, Carrie Twitchell and Kayla Twitchell; three great-grandchildren, Tyrell Monroe, Parker Gilman and Aleigha Elkins; a close niece, Patsy Beane; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter F. Twitchell; and her five siblings.
Visiting hours will be held noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating.
