BRADFORD – Howard A. Jack, 75, passed away Oct. 9, 2011, with his family and friends by his side. He was born Jan. 20, 1936, in Bradford, son of the late Arthur M. and Florence M. (Noke) Jack.

Howard graduated from Bradford High School, Class of 1954. After graduation He embarked on a long career as a long haul truck driver working for various companies. He was an enthusiastic Red Sox fan, as well as a gifted musician with a terrific voice. He enjoyed hunting and fishing immensely, and was always willing to share his stories with others. His passion and skills with knitting needles kept many friends and family members warm with the various items he made.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, DeeDee; and a brother, Donald. Surviving, in addition to the love of his life, Mercer Harrington, are his sons, Curt and his wife, Sonia, Robert, Mike, Howard Jr. and his wife, Tracy, Ronald and his wife, Lee, Jeremy Gallant, Timothy Gallant, and David Gallant; his brothers, Ronald and his wife, Jeanette, and Rollie; and his sister, Pat. Howard had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service for the immediate family Saturday, Oct. 15, in Bradford. A reception will be held noon Saturday for friends and family at Hilltop Community Center, Bradford.
