CAMBRIDGE – Cheryl Lynn Davis, 44, died peacefully Oct. 23, 2011, surrounded by family members in Bangor. She was born Jan. 2, 1967, in Hartland, to Donald and Jeanette (Hall) Davis.

Cheryl spent many years as a certified nurse’s aide in southern Maine before returning to her hometown of Cambridge, where she enjoyed gardening and watching the birds and wildlife around her always spotless home.

Cheryl is survived by her mother and stepdad, Jeanette and Stephen Hall of Guilford; a son, Dustin Schildroth of Hollis; a sister, Karen and her husband, Jon, and children, Jacquelyn, Joseph and Joshua, of Hebron, Conn.; a brother, Donald Davis and his wife, Judi, of Newport and her children, Brad and Nick Norris, and Andrew and Adam Pierce; a half brother, Derick Davis and his wife, Whitney, of Virginia; and stepbrothers, Stephen D. Hall of Winslow, Rodrick Hall of Guilford and Galen Hall of Dayton, and their families. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father in 1986; and her Davis and Hall grandparents.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford.
