EDDINGTON – Beverly G. Hodges, 50, wife of Henry C. Hodges, died peacefully Oct. 24, 2011, surrounded by her family in Bangor. She was born May 22, 1961, in Island Falls, the daughter of Clarence A. and Ardis A. (Blakley) Baker.

Beverly was a devoted mother and homemaker who loved her family and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandsons, family and friends. She also loved going to her support group at Caring Connections.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of Eddington and her mother of Stacyville, are two daughters, Laura Daniels and her husband, Darrell, of Marshfield and Jessica Nichols and her husband, Adam, of Bangor; two grandchildren, Morgan Daniels and Nathaniel Nichols; one brother, Timothy Baker of Houlton; one sister, Mary Baker of Stacyville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; a sister, Bonnie Germain; a nephew and great-nephew.

A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Calvary Baptist Church, Stacyville, and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Ramada Inn, Bangor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Connections, care of Bangor YMCA-YWCA, 17 Second St., Bangor, ME 04401 or at www.bangorymca.org.
