WATERVILLE – On Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, Tanis Leigh Shea breathed her last in this troubled world only to take her first breath in her perfect life with Jesus. In God’s perfect way, Tanis was brought into the world in Bangor through her earthly father, Donald F. Sanborn and her mother, Jean M. (Cushing) Sanborn, who predeceased her.
Tanis is survived by her husband, Paul Shea, whom she married in 1984. Tanis is survived by her daughter, Sarah and companion, Chris Repiton; and son, Michael and his beloved wife, Jessica (DeFelice) Shea. Tanis is also survived by her siblings, John Sanborn and wife, Joy, and Peggy (Sanborn) Bineau and her husband, Jeff; mother-in-law, Ann J. (Shea) Pearson; sisters-in-law, Justine Webber, Carolyn Kleinpeter and her husband, Scott, Kat Shea and Rita Shea; brothers-in-law, Joe Shea and Rich Shea and his wife, Chris; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tanis is also survived by best friend, Nona Quirion; and Anne Hodgdon.
A remembrance of Tanis’ earthly existence will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Faith Evangelical Free Church, Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville, with a reception on site afterward.
