TRENTON – Beverly C. Grant, 82, died Oct. 29, 2011, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Concord, N.H., daughter of John and Mabel (Maher) Branswell.
She grew up and attended school in Concord, N.H., graduating in 1947. On June 20, 1953, Beverly married Walter Grant, in Concord, N.H. They lived in Orono for 33 years and moved to Trenton 25 years ago. Beverly enjoyed being a full-time wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed arts and crafts. Beverly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellsworth.
Beverly is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Walter of Trenton; sons, Michael Grant and wife, Betsy, of Blythewood, S.C., Stephen Grant and wife, Linda, of Charleston, S.C., and Timothy Grant and wife, Bonnie, of Gray; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jesse, Brian, Jimmy and Christy; sisters, Sister Christinia Branswell and Shirley Gage and husband, Everett.
A memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with Father Scott Mower, celebrant. Interment will be at Leland Cemetery, Trenton.
