WELLS, Maine — Police say a 22-year-old man has died after a late-night car crash in Wells.
Wells police told WMTW-TV that Nathan Spring was driving at a high rate of speed on Perry Oliver Road at 11:30 p.m. Friday when he lost control of his car, which went off the road before crashing into a tree and a telephone pole.
Spring was pronounced dead at about 1 a.m. Saturday morning at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
