No one knows why you were taken so fast;
but now you’re in heaven having a blast
playing with your granddaughters whom you longed to hold; reading them stories you always told.
You were the best Grammie as God could see;
that’s why he took you to heaven to be.
Spreading your love, and your loving touch;
which we all miss so much!
Now, an angel whom God praises,
because the love you’ve shown in many places
not only to your family but children you didn’t know;
all because God told you so.
“God bless you dear” as you say to us,
so thank you Grammie for loving us.
