LEVANT – James C. “Jimmy” McPhearson III, 16, died unexpectedly Nov. 7, 2011, as the result of an automobile accident in Carmel. He was born Feb. 10, 1995, in Harbor City, Calif., son of James C. Jr. and Kathy A. (King) McPhearson.
Jimmy was a student in the junior class of Hermon High School, where he played football for the past three years. Some of his closest friends he had were made by playing football, including Derek “Fluffy” Bond, Kyle Emery, Kyle Hornyack, Garrett McIntyre, Nash Roy, Joey Martin, Steven Roberts and Troy Bennett to name only a few. Those who knew Jimmy well, knew of his talent for romancing the girls, one of his greatest gifts with which he was blessed. Known as “Tater Tot” by his family members, he was birthday buddies with Auntie Laurie, sharing the same birthday. He recently experienced his first hunting trip with RJ, Richard and Aaron Picken in October, and was proud of knowing that he would soon become RJ’s stepbrother.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, Kathy McPhearson of Levant; are one sister, Maureen Klink; one brother, Tyler Klink, both of Levant; grandparents, Bob and Annie King of Levant, and Nan McPhearson of Prescott, Ariz.; great-grandmother, Virginia Sprague of Levant; aunts and uncles, John and Laurie Ashman, Rob and Marge King of Bangor; great-aunt, Helen Fleming of Prescott, Ariz.; cousins, Rachel and Johnny “Strong Like Bull” Ashman, Nelson and Mason King; and a special and close friend, Meaghan Sinclair of Hermon.
