NORTH WATERBORO – Dennis P. Horan, 67, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1944, in Providence, R.I., a son of Edward J. and Gladys E. (King) Horan.

He went to school in Georgiaville, R.I., and as a young man he worked on his family’s farm. In May 1981, he moved to Dexter and went to work for Dexter Shoe Co., where he was employed for many years.
