FARMINGTON, Maine — Authorities in Farmington are investigating two threats within several days that forced officials to evacuate Mount Blue High School.
A district administrator says a written threat found at the high school Tuesday prompted the early dismissal of several schools in the district.
That came on the heels of a bomb threat Friday that led to the busing of more than 700 students to alternate sites for the day. Investigators did not find any sort of explosive in the school and said it could reopen Monday.
Leanne Condon, a district administrator, tells the Morning Sentinel that there is no indication of any link between the threats. There have been no arrests.
Classes are scheduled to resume Monday after the holiday weekend.
