BANGOR, Maine — Police are looking for whoever slashed 50 tires on 24 vehicles late Friday or early Saturday at a local car dealership.
Bangor police received a call at 7:30 a.m. Saturday from Darling’s Honda Nissan Volvo on Sylvan Road, according to Sgt. Cathy Rumsey.
The value of the tires was estimated to be $10,000, she said Sunday.
No other damage to vehicles was reported.
Rumsey declined to say whether the dealership had a surveillance system that might be helpful in the investigation.
