WEST ENFIELD – Dorothy Beverly White, 81, wife of the late Robert Elwood White, passed away Nov. 28, 2011, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Aug 3, 1930, in Medway, daughter of Linette (Fogg) and Harold Day Sr.
Dorothy enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, her flowers and camping. She especially enjoyed visiting with her family.
She is survived by three children, Robert White and Robin, and Sherrie White, all of Birch Harbor, and Mark White and Ann of West Enfield; six grandchildren, Chris White of Florida, Chad White and Tara Preble of Medway, Ashlee White of Gouldsboro, Sam Lyons of West Enfield, Stephanie Champney and Kevin of Bradford, and Laycee White of Milford; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Cordell Preble of East Corinth; siblings, Betty Pond, Harold Day, Kaye Potvin, Janice McPheters, Richard Day, Meredith White, Dale Day and Dana Day; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Reggie and Dexter Day.
Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Town Line Hill Cemetery, Enfield, with the Rev.
