An Ellsworth man reported missing since last Friday has been located, according to police.
Friends of David Washington, 65, notified the Ellsworth Police Department earlier this week that he had not been seen since last Friday. The friends became concerned when Washington, a frequent patron of several businesses in town and the public library, was not seen on his routine visits.
Washington notified authorities on Friday evening that he had been visiting friends in Machias.
