EASTPORT, Maine — The land, pier and buildings associated with the Eastport Boat School have been sold to Perry Maine and Construction for $300,000.
The 17-acre site at 16 Deep Cove will be converted into a facility that will build tidal turbines being developed by Ocean Renewable Power Co.
Eastport acquired the property from the state more than four years ago for $1. The sale, which was completed on Dec. 1, will revert the property to local property tax rolls.
