Outlook: Graduated six seniors, four of them starters and our eighth man. This year we are young and inexperienced. Only one senior that has played any minutes and no one else that played any significant time last year. It sounds cliche, but we are just trying to make strides each day in practice and try and give ourselves a chance to get into the tournament at the end of the year.

Outlook: Warriors will look to play uptempo and be sound defensively. Newcomers Will and Andrew Cartwright and Soren Madsen bring height to the team (6-8, 6-6, 6-4 respectively). Returners Ethan Pearl, Spencer Hartsgrove and Devin Chambers figure to be key contributors on a well-balanced scoring attack that returns all players from last year’s roster but one. Nokomis figures to be in the tournament mix with other top KVAC teams Gardiner, Winslow, Camden Hills and Medomak Valley.

Outlook: The Coyotes return several letter-winners and two of the top three scorers from the 2010-2011 season, including junior forward/guard Garrett Libby. Libby ranked in the top 10 in the Big East in scoring points per game last season. Along with Libby, Old Town will feature junior guards Cameron Archer and Matt Melanson. Senior center Bryan Guay and senior guard Gabe Melmed also return as previous letter-winners for the Coyotes and should bring with them leadership and the ability to score and rebound. Look for Libby, Archer, Melanson and Melmed to step up and fill the void this winter left by graduated players Kyle Abbott, Cole Haskell and Ryan Boyington. Younger players will play a key role in the depth of the Coyotes, with junior Tyler Lynch and sophomores Zach Bartlett and Garvey Melmed playing important roles for the squad.
