BRADFORD – Lucy A. Little, 96, died Dec. 6, 2011, in the presence of her family. She was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Charlestown, Mass., daughter of John and Lucy (Ritchie) Munden.
Lucy attended public school in Charlestown, Mass., where she lived with her parents and five brothers and sisters. As a young girl, she and Gert, her younger sister, enjoyed several summers living with their cousins on Cape Cod, Mass. Later she worked as an usherette at a Boston theater. In 1940 she married William T. Little, also of Charlestown, Mass., and they shared their lives together until his death in 1984. Lucy was a quiet, loving, selfless and strong woman, who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two loving sons, William and Paul and their families; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy and Charlie; sisters, Emma, Mary and Gertrude; and niece, Barbara.
There will be a graveside service held next spring at Lakegrove Cemetery, Holliston, Mass. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
