BRUNSWICK — The Maine Department of Transportation closed the Frank J. Wood Bridge between Brunswick and Topsham this afternoon to allow workers to repair a failed joint on the Brunswick abutment.
According to a release from the MDOT, officials expect the bridge to reopen by Saturday morning.
Message boards will guide drivers onto Route 1 and Route 196 during the closure.
