ORONO – Clayton “KK” Philip Robichaud died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. He was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Orono, the son of Walter “Rubby” and Francis (Thibodeau) Robichaud.

KK attended Orono schools. He retired from Bangor Hydro and then worked part time at Orono High School. KK enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, especially mackerel fishing with family, and backyard birding. Throughout the years he spent countless hours devoted to his favorite hobby, HO trains. He also loved a “friendly” game of cribbage.

KK is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly (Nadeau); son, Fred and his wife, Roberta, of Old Town; stepgrandson, Jeremy and his wife, Lucy Porter, of Bradley; sister, Viola “Tootie” Sawyer of Cardville; brothers, Ralph “Sonny” and his wife, Roberta, of Orono, Walter “Skippy” Robichaud of Stetson and Gary and his wife, Penny, of Orono; extended family, Gary and Holly Bricker and their family of Auburn and Glenburn, Alvin “Chip” and Robyn Myers of Alton; special cousin, Roland “Rocky” Robichaud of Old Town; and nephew, Vernon and Laurie Robichaud of Woodville. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend, and will be missed by those that knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Clayton was predeceased by his sister, Geneva Robichaud Brooks.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Orono. Those wishing to remember KK in a special way may make gifts in his name to Animal Orphanage, P.O.
