PORTLAND, Maine — Police are on the hunt for a man they say robbed a CVS Pharmacy here over the weekend.

The suspect entered the Congress Street store around noon Sunday and demanded drugs, police Lt. Gary Rogers told the Bangor Daily News on Monday.

The male suspect didn’t have a weapon and he fled on foot, Rogers said.

The man was wearing dark glasses, bluejeans, boots and a brownish jacket with a gray blanket over his head and face, according to surveillance footage.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Portland Police Department at 874-8533.
