BANGOR, Maine — A local transient with a love of sushi was charged with theft after he took a container on Monday afternoon from Shaw’s grocery store on Main Street, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Tuesday.
The store manager “watched the male subject select a tray of sushi from the a la carte and walk around the store eating it,” the sergeant said.
Eric Ducas, 25, was charged with theft at around 5:15 p.m. and also was given a criminal trespass warning not to return to the store for one year, Edwards said. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
